Day 101 at PUP QC :)

October 22, Thursday

Hmmm... ngayon lang ulit ako nakapagpost since sobrang busy at hectic ang schedule in the past months dahil sa midterm, projects at lalong lalo na yung pamatay na final exam namin. (it's not really day 101 ha?)

I am so overwhelmed and blessed. Sobra! Hindi ko ineexpect na ganun lang pala kabilis ang 5 months. Ganun lang kabilis ang first semester ko sa kolehiyo. It was fun. It was a total success. Complete package, actually. I aim for good grades. I aim for achievements. And I aim for friends para sa buong sem na 'to. Eventually, pinagbigyan ako ni Lord :)

Hindi ako yung tipo ng estudyante na sagad sa bones ang pagiging grade conscious. Pero ako ung estudyanteng hindi mapakali kapag alam kong I didn't do good in recitations, reporting or kaya sa exams kasi alam ko sa sarili ko that I didn't study well at hindi ako very well prepared. I do my best for my self satisfaction. Literally, mahirap. Mahirap mag-aral. Mahirap in a sense na sobrang puyat at halos masira ang beauty ko. Hahaha! Walang kokontra.

September 21-26. Foundation Week sa PUP-QC. Yung buong week na 'to medyo busy ako since we are preparing para sa academic contest na ginanap noong September 24 sa PUP Sta Mesa. 3 representatives (including me hahaha) ang isinabak sa medyo madugong Basic Statistics quiz bee. Nakakatuwa yung professor ko sa Mathematics in Business who was also our coach sa contest na yon kasi he really was good sa pagtrain at pagturo. Hindi ko makakalimutan na nabanggit pa sa word problem sila Yaya Dub at Alden sa difficult level ng contest. We didn't made it pero worth it ang pagod sa pagrereview kasi I met two newfound friends sa campus namin. Tapos nanlibre pa ng Jollibee si Sir. Oha!

September 28. May naganap na pageant called Mr & Ms Elite 2015. The event was for Marketing students organized by the Junior Marketing Society officers (including me as the first year rep) hihi.

Maraming group activities at nakakapressure na projects. Of course, we need to beat deadlines. Meron kaming dalawang project sa subject naming Principles of Management and Organization.The first one is we need to interview a businessman.Dalawa yung ininterview namin. We prepared so much for everything. Kaya at the end of the day, we got the fruit of our hardwork and effort. First time kong makarinig ng "Uno" as our grade. It gave me the feels! :D
Yung pangalawa naman, we need to make a documentary or short film. My group made a documentary about Henry Sy's life and success story. Naalala ko na sobrang puyat ang inabot ko at ng isa kong classmate sa kakaedit ng video na yan. We do that project for almost 2 days lang. Hindi naman obvious na medyo mahilig kami sa rush. Haha. October 10. Meron rin kaming performance and installation art sa subject naming Humanities. We are five in the group. We did a 5-minute performance (simple acting, actually) na we considered art as it have a message that we conceptualized and prepared for almost 5 weeks. Yung message revolves around love, judgment and freedom. Yung installation art naman, we have given a theme by our professor. The theme was "The Most Comfortable Uncomfortable Chair" where we need to redesign any broken chair.

For this whole sem, mas nakilala ko ang blockmates ko. Definitely, I didn't meet my expectations. Some are more than that. I found true friends. I found some (hmmmm no need to mention)

May mas nakakatuwa other than finding new friends sa college. Yun ay ang makilala ko ang isang taong noon ay inaadmire ko lang because of his personality. Noon, kausap ko lang sa phone at kaasaran. Tinatawag pa kong bunso at liit. (Grabe sa pambubully)
Hopefully, things go well at mahalaga ang God-centered relationship :) I know God will always guide us.

Tapos na ang clearance week. And to celebrate  the end of the semester, our class president together with the class officers (including me as the budget officer haha ), organized a simple yet surely exciting na swimming somewhere lang naman.

Opportunities come only once. It's either you'll grab or neglect them. Pero before the end of the sem, I decided to join a business partnership together with our professor sa management subject namin. That is a food business and hopefully, maging successful ang aming business.
